Max says: 'It's a collection of ambient and experimental electronic tracks made over the past year. Sometimes it sounds quite sweet and soft, but most of the time it doesn't, at all. We started to think of it as being like relaxation music for the restless. Chill-out music that cannot, itself, ever chill out. Sometimes it's nice when music lets you spend time in a place that's softer and sweeter than the one you have to live in. But it can also be deeply irritating when the music sounds so much happier and more relaxed than you're capable of being, right now. Sometimes you want the music to struggle along with you. I hope you like it, anyway. We really only released this because we've been making music for so long and we wanted to finally break the seal and start putting stuff out. You'll be able to dance to the next one. I promise.'
